Jebel Ali Primary School (JAPS)

 Rating: Good

Location: Jebel Ali Village (As of 2016, the new location is between Mudon and Remraam)
Curriculum: British
Level Taught: Foundation/Primary (Although the new school will add a secondary)
Fees: Dhs 41,000+ (these have risen sharply at the new location. By 2018, Year 9 will be 89,000 AED) 

What says: According to our surveys JAPS has consistently happy kids, happy parents and a great sense of community. Let’s hope these essential elements don’t get lost during the move to the bigger and better facilities.

What the School Says:

We pride ourselves on the fact that we are a not for profit school which means we are not focused on making money. We reinvest all of our income on the education and welfare of our pupils. We strongly believe that we bring an essential and positive dimension to the educational landscape of Dubai. Our mission of putting children first is pivotal to everything we do. We strive to achieve the highest of academic standards alongside developing the whole child.

What the KHDA Says: The KHDA particularly likes the inspiring teaching at foundation and primary phases in English, mathematics and science, which they say, results in all students' having outstanding performance in these key subjects.

In addition, the support, care and protection provided for students across the school is outstanding including the school’s provision for students with special education needs.
