It is the last term of the academic year for most students in the UAE with summer holidays on the horizon. To help plan their vacation, parents have been awaiting the announcement of the start date of the new academic year.

On Tuesday the UAE's Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that:

The academic body in all schools applying to foreign curriculums and the MOE curriculum will starts on Aug. 26, 2018, while students will start on September 2, 2018.”

The Ministry also tweeted that a flexibility margin of one week is granted to private schools of foreign curricula to start the academic calendar.
