School Bus Accident: Abu Dhabi

Two Abu Dhabi school buses have been involved in a road traffic accident this morning.

Police at the scene told the media the injuries are "mild to moderate." It is believed 47 children have been injured and taken to Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

The buses from Belvedere British School and Al Dhafra Private School (both located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City) are believed to have collided with a third shuttle-bus belonging to the RTA.

The accident took place at the Abu Dhabi- Mussafah road early on Thursday 29th September.

The National reports that ADEC is working with the police during the investigation.
