LET'S GO

A student Karting Cup tournament will kick-off in January 2018 at internationally certified Al Ain Raceway Kart Circuit.

The registration for the F1 styled event will begin on January 26 with the final race ending on February 16.

Participants will be divided into the age groups of 12-15; 16-19 and, 20-23. There will be 3 qualifying rounds and a final round; eliminating participants in every round.

In addition to the karting tournament, music bands from schools and colleges across UAE will compete against each other in the battle of bands.

Sandhya Unni, Director of TwoTone Events, said:

Today, students need to be stimulated and challenged. While football and other sports still remain popular, speed does have its thrills. Moreover karting teaches them various disciplines. Last year we saw over 200 eager students keen to participate, and over 1000 people watching the aspiring racers. We are hoping to cross that number this time."
