Sharjah will be getting a new GEMS Education school in the Nasma Residences community.

The announcement came at the launch of phase 3 of the community

A statement by the developer said that the work has started at the fully self-sustained villa and townhouse community located in new Sharjah

HE Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, chairman of ARADA, said:

“The new GEMS school reinforces our commitment to providing a fully inclusive experience to every homeowner in Nasma Residences. Our vision is that every resident should be able to access best-in-class services, including a high-quality, international education for their children, all within a beautifully designed and landscaped community.”

Dino Varkey, CEO of GEMS Education, added:

“We’re delighted to bring the very highest quality education to Nasma Residences, with a new affordable international school.”

The community, spread over an area of 5 million sq. ft, will be anchored by four community offerings: a 13-acre landscaped park with cycling and jogging tracks and play areas; a multi-purpose community centre with club house offering sports and recreation facilities; children's nursery and full-service medical clinic; the GEMS international school; and Nasma Square, a retail mall.

Phase 1 will be delivered by end of 2018.
