The government announced today the private sector holiday dates for Eid Al Adha in the UAE.

The Ministry of Human Resource said in a statement, “Eid Al Adha holidays for the private sector will be for three days, starting on Sunday, September 11 to Tuesday, September 13.”

While most UAE private schools still have not announced their plans for the Eid Al Adha holidays, they will either follow the private sector directive and close from Sunday 11th September and open again on Wednesday September 14th or take their cue from a government public sector that will be closed from the 11th to the 15th - that is the entire week. Those so far to have announced plans have opted for the latter.
