Dubai's English College Announces New Primary
Ian Jones, headteacher at Dubai’s English College announced tonight the opening of EC's new primary for September 2016.
The school, to be named ‘Manor Primary School’ will offer the British EYFS and primary curriculum and will be located in Al Safa 1 on the site of what was previously The English College Primary School.
He told parents at the school, “Manor Primary School will create and promote a challenging learning environment that inspires children to achieve high standards and become life-long independent learners.”
He continued, “we will set consistently high expectations, build children's confidence and ensure engagement for all. We will develop all pupils as creative thinkers, inquisitive questioners, avid problem solvers and successful communicators with flexible and transferable skills.”
“Children will learn to collaborate effectively at all levels, and be equipped to adapt to the needs of a diverse and ever changing society,” he said.
Manor Primary School will be opening for all years (Foundation Stages 1 & 2, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6) in September 2016, and will be accepting applications shortly.
