LET'S GO

Blossom Nursery Group (under the ownership of Babilou Middle East Education) has acquired Inspire Children's Nursery with a majority of its staff, and 41 children, moving to Blossom Village Nursery in Umm Suqeim.

Inspire Children's Nursery had closed its doors for the last time in December 2017.

The move will bring a new focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN) to Blossom Village, with changes to the facilities and provision already underway.  One classroom has now become a dedicated physiotherapy room and close ties with Speech and Language therapists are being forged.

A range of therapists will visit weekly to provide specialist support for children with additional needs.

Centre Director of Blossom Village, Jackie Potgieter said:

'There was a natural synergy between Blossom and Inspire, with both nurseries having a child centric approach and highly qualified and dedicated staff.  We were delighted to have the Inspire team join us and we look forward to learning from their expertise, in particular in the field of SEN.  The move has worked seamlessly so far, with all children remaining within their previous class groupings, meaning that those all important bonds and friendships have been maintained."

The pre-school added it was are proud to be a 100% inclusive and was looking forward to "supporting more children and parents in the local community".
