LET'S GO

This year, there was no change to the number of schools ranked Outstanding by the KHDA.

As in 2015/16, a total of 16 schools were considered to be Outstanding.

However, 2016/17 was NOT a conventional inspection cycle for any of the Outstanding schools.

This year, the KHDA gave all top rated schools the opportunity to forego the inspection process in favour of completing the self-assessment process and participating in the new ‘Abundance-Project.’

All 16 Outstanding schools took part and chose in favour of assisting lower rated schools across the city.

The KHDA has yet to publish any results or findings of the Abundance Project and WhichSchoolAdvisor.com expects no measurable results to be available until the low-rated schools are inspected in the 2017/18 inspection cycle.

With no new schools rated Outstanding, and all previously Outstanding rated schools opting out of the inspection process, there are no movers in this category.
