In total, there are nine schools offering all-through IB (Early Years, PYP, MYP and IB Diploma), in Dubai, these are: Dubai International Academy, Uptown School, Greenfield Community School, Dar Al Marefa School, Emirates International School-Meadows, Emirates International School-Jumeirah, GEMS World Academy, GEMS International School-Al Khail and Jumeirah Baccalaureate School (JBS).

This year, only one IB school-Uptown School in Mirdif moved up the rankings. The school moved from Good to Very Good.

As in the 2015/16 inspection cycle, Dubai International Academy (DIA) is once again the only ‘pure’ IB school to achieve an Outstanding rating, with Uptown now the only IB school ranked Very Good.

A further 6 schools, (Dar Al Marefa, Greenfield Community School, Jumeirah Baccalaureate School (JBS), Emirates International School- Meadows, Emirates International School-Jumeirah, and GEMS World Academy) all remained at a Good rating.

GEMS International School- Al Khail moved up from Acceptable to Good this year, meaning all ‘pure’ IB schools in Dubai are rated Good or better by the regulator.
