Abu Dhabi school operator, Aldar Academies celebrated its 10th year of operation by announcing impressive expansion plans

Alongside a list of festivities, the organisation, which boasts three Outstanding rated schools, revealed a new parent company, Aldar Education, which will launch the organisation's first nursery.

Aldar also announced it is set to create a new brand of affordable schools.

Last month the organisation took over the operations of four ADNOC Schools across the Al Dhafra Region and Abu Dhabi.

Nilay Ozral, Aldar Academies CEO said, ”during our ten years of excellence, I’m proud to say that Aldar Academies has made a lasting contribution to Abu Dhabi’s emergence as one of the very best destinations in the world for education.”

“This progress is thanks to the commitment of our magnificent teaching team, our passion in finding the most effective ways to teach, and our investments in the most advanced education facilities available. This commitment has allowed our students to thrive, which is precisely what we are aiming for from our next ten years and beyond.”

The organisation began back in 2007 with The Pearl School and 247 students.

Since then, Aldar Academies has invested over AED 1 billion in education and grown to incorporate seven academies, over 6,500 students and close to 1,000 employees.

In addition, a further 7,000 students and 1,000 employees recently joined the Aldar Academies community following the agreement to manage and operate ADNOC Schools.
