Abu Dhabi Schools Score Well in GCSE Results

Pupils at Abu Dhabi's largest British school have been celebrating the school's best ever GCSE results which contrasts with the general trend in the UK where overall results have dipped for the first time ever.
Of 110 pupils taking the exams at the British School Al Khubairat, 96 per cent scored A* to C grades. Almost half (49%) were A* or A, and 79 per cent A* to B.
And all the school's GCSE pupils scored at least five grades A*-C - widely regarded as the "pass mark" for continuing to A-level study.
Another Abu Dhabi school, Al Yasmine, was also toasting its pupils' success.
Their 43 pupils scored grades A* to C on 93 per cent of their exams, including 39% A or A* and 75% A* to B.

If the intention is to feature the best schools in the country, please could I suggest you feature Brighton College Abu Dhabi which now holds premier status as the most academically successful school in the Emirate and perhaps the leading academic 3-18 school in the region.
Also you have misquoted the data for Al Yasmina. 75 % of pupils achieved at least an A or a B as far as I understand it. Not that 75% of their grades were A or B.
GCSE: 37%A*, 64%a*/a, 88% a* to B, 97% a* to c. Nearly 90% of al science grades graded a* or a. Over 80* of Arabic grades graded a*.
A-level: 72% a* to b, 40% a*/a. 20% of the year group achieved 3 or more a/a*.

Thanks for your feedback. We are in the process of contacting as many schools as possible to get a round up of the results for both (I) GCSE, A levels and IBDP. Some of the results are already in and have been provided to us and in some instances we are asking for a further break-down. Once we have a comprehensive set of data, we will be publishing our own review of the results this summer.
