Nursery children

It's well known that the UAE is an expensive place to live and childcare costs feature high on the list of financial headaches for many parents.  With that in mind, the WhichSchoolAdvisor.com's Early Years team have scoured the emirates looking for fantastic value for money nurseries – where you don't have to compromise on quality of care, early education OR burn a hole in your wallet in order to give your child a great start in life.

It is important to note that this list is not exhaustive and represents our opinion and not simply the cheapest option.

The 'average' fee we quote in our reviews is based upon a 45 hours per week for three terms per year. Unlike schools, there can be vast differences in how nurseries price their differing timings and options.  Some of the most expensive nurseries we have encountered are priced at upwards of 50,000 AED (based upon the above calculation) and we have tried to include in this list options that are substantially below this level.  That said, we really recommend you do your homework. Some nurseries will offer discounted summer or spring camps, uniforms thrown in for free, free transport and some offer food included in the tuition fees.

Remember, price is not the only value point.

Lastly, it is vital to remember that low fee should NOT equate low quality. Where the youngest of our children are concerned safety, hygiene and loving care simply cannot be compromised.

Let's take a look at our top five AMAZING value for money nurseries and preschools.
