For working parents, the Dubai summer can seem like an eternity of sweltering weather, too much screen-time and a neighbourhood resembling the Marie-Celeste.

Name: Atlantis Summer Survivor Camp

What is it? the Summer Survivor camp is designed to challenge, inspire and excite. Join the Atlantis Pirate crew or become a Candy Olympian, from obstacle courses to treasure hunts and lots of fun in the sun at Aquaventure, this camp provides endless ways to beat the heat!

Name: Al Nasr Leisureland Camp

What is it? Still the BIGGEST budget camp available in Dubai, offering everything the facility has to offer- including: skating, cooking, swimming, art and craft, dance, henna, face-painting, outdoor trips and a whole host of additional activities for AED 5 per activity.

Age: 7 to 13

When:  9am to 1.30pm Throughout the holidays

Where: Al Nasr Leisureland, Oud Metha, Dubai

Name: Dubai Holiday Camps- Summer Camp

What is it? A slew of sports and activity based fun, located in numerous schools around Dubai.

Age: all

When: 8am to 2pm Throughout the holidays (CAS offers a late pick up option of 5pm)

Where: Collegiate American School, Dubai International Academy and Deira International School

Price: From AED 180+ per day/AED 650+ per week / AED 2340+ per month

Name: Elite Sports Summer Camp

What is it? Elite Sports School holiday camps offer the opportunity to participate in and learn the key skills in sports including: football, basketball, cricket, dodgeball, hockey and more.The camps focuses on FUN through learning, and promotes the concept of health and fitness under the tutelage of experienced, qualified coaches.

Age: 4 to 14

When: 8.30am to 2.30pm Throughout the summer (half days are available)

Name: Diverse Dance Summer Camp

What is it? Get your kids singing, dancing, acting and enjoying the summer with this award winning Dubai dance school.

Age: 5 to 14

When: 9am to 3pm daily throughout the holidays

Where: Diverse Studios and Nord Anglia School- Dubai

Price: AED 900 per week (existing students at Diverse get AED 100 off)

Name: Step By Step Nursery

What is it? A fun filled nursery camp based on exciting and engaging topics, these include: messy fun, happy campers, active kids, little chefs, super heroes, out of Africa and crazy patterns.

Name: Junior Masterchef at Atlantis the Palm

What is it? If they love cooking then this is the camp for you. They’ll be sushi making, pizza making, cake decorating and making a whole host of delicious goodies.

Age: 8 to 12

When: 9am to 5pm- Weekly from 10th July to 15th August

Name: Courtyard Playhouse – Julia Donaldson: A Picture Book Journey

What is it? Who doesn’t want to join this Julia Donaldson Camp dedicated to 5 of her picture book favourites? The camp takes a book per day: The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, Room On The Broom, Stick Man and The Snail & The Whale and the story telling, poetry, puppetry, crafts, acting out stories, role-play, face painting and drama games begin!

Age: 4 to 7 years

When: 26- 30th June, 3rd to 7th July and 10th – 14th July- 10am to 5pm.

What is it? An academic based nursery camp for younger kids. Activities include: water play, arts and crafts, gardening, language learning, literacy and communication, phonics, reading, writing, pre-writing, vocabulary and drama.

Age: 2 months to 4 years

What is it? A clued-up camp for making super smart kids. Get them working on fun maths, music, lego robotics, become a science detective, creative writing, public speaking plus a whole host of games and fun.
