Al Barari is one of the greenest residential areas in Dubai composed, predominantly of villas with landscaped gardens, pools, water features, entertaining areas and roof-top terraces.
It is home, in general, to larger families and higher-income earners.
There are five residential areas to choose from in Al Barari: Seventh Heaven, Ashjar, The Reserve, The Nest and The Residences, and four types of villa available with 6 or 7 bedrooms available.
Rentals start from around 550,000 AED per year up to 700,000 AED.
Located just off the old Emirates Road after Global Village it's quite secluded, so much so if you call it home, you'll feel each night you actually escape Dubai altogether as you enter the community.
It certainly does not feel like desert. Common parks complete the spaces between clusters of villas, with waterways meandering through common spaces. Themed Gardens are also scattered around the development.
One of the biggest draws of the community is The Farm and the Greenworks nursery, most recommended for breakfast in an idyllic setting... It is also recommended for the freshness of its ingredients in general. The Farm is rated 4.0 on Zomato.
Dunecrest American School lies at the heart of the community. It's a new school, and therefore small, but is growing into its impressive space. You can read the review here.
