Home of 10,000 seat Al Nahyan Stadium and Al Wahda sports club, Al Wahda is very much mid-town Abu Dhabi.
As such expect mid-rise buildings, shops, commercial premises, restaurants and cafes - and traffic. A few villas can be found dotted about.
The area is also home to Al Wahda mall, 3.3 million square feet and 350 brands - including Al Wahda Cinema, H&M, Iconic, Gold’s Gym, BHS, Wanasa Land, ID Design, Mamas & Papas and the city’s one of biggest Lulu Hyper market. The mall won “Best Shopping Mall in Abu Dhabi” Award for 4 consecutive years - from 2010-13.
Few schools of note, however given this is in the middle of the city, city centre schools are not too far away. Beware the city traffic however.
