Describe your school's approach to education and teaching?

St. Andrews International School, Sukhumvit 107 students follow a rigorous curriculum aligned with the English National Curriculum Standards using the IB framework, standards and practices. Currently we offer IGSCE's for Years 10 and 11 and the IB Diploma for Years 12 and 13.

Physical education and sport is an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. How does your school ensure children engage in physical activity?

We are committed to developing personal wellness and physical fitness. Regular physical activity in childhood and adolescence improves strength and endurance; helps build healthy bones and muscles; helps control weight; reduces anxiety and stress; and increases self-esteem, mood, and concentration.

How does your school promote healthy lifestyles?

PE instruction is sequential and planned to develop and improve performance skills, to impart knowledge and concepts relevant to the activity, to introduce information concerning the fitness and health benefits of regular exercise and to help students develop and maintain physical fitness.

How do you promote healthy eating?

Our canteen has a large selection of Thai, Western, and other cuisines as well as a full salad and fruit bar every day. We also have meatless Monday, which is not only good for personal health but also for the health of our planet!

School starts at 7:30am and ends at 2:30pm for Early Years and Primary, 3:30pm for Secondary.

We have a parent support group that helps with a number of school events and activities. We also have parent ambassadors to help welcome new families and a lovely parent cafe on campus.

We have a wine and cheese night at the start of every school year to welcome everyone back to school and give parents and staff the opportunity to get to know one another. We also have coffee mornings throughout each term which give information about different sections of the school, curriculum or upcoming events. Our annual celebrations and activities are also great opportunities for parents to participate and enjoy being part of our community.
