Welcome to the Si Ri Panya International School official Q and A page. Here we ask the questions, and the school answers directly. It is its chance to have its say on specific areas you have told us you want to know about. If you think there are additional questions we should be asking you may contact us here.

If you have to highlight three strengths of your school, what would they be?

We are a small school with a family atmosphere. We focus on the whole child nurturing them academically and socially.

Does your school have a waiting list? In which years?

Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are currently full with a waiting list

How many nationalities are represented in your school? How international would you say your school is?

We have upwards of 20 nationalities.

Are there high proportions of a particular nationality?

50% of the school is Thai or half-Thai and 50% of the school is international.

What is the teacher: student ratio in your school?

In years 1-3 there are one class teacher and one teaching assistant with a maximum of 20 children. In years 4-7 there is one class teacher.

Please describe your approach to teacher recruitment in terms of the balance of staff you seek in terms of nationalities and in terms of years of experience/ qualifications you look for. Please also provide details of how you use teaching assistants.

All our foreign staff are from the United Kingdom and hold full QTS status from the UK (Qualifiied eacher Status) plus upwards of two years teaching experience from within the UK.
