New Sathorn International School (NSIS) combines British and US teaching methods to offer a global education to children aged three to 18 years.

New Sathorn International School (NSIS) was founded in 2004 to offer an international education that's deeply rooted in Christian beliefs and values. Describing itself as a "progressive Christian school", NSIS incorporates elements of both the British and American education system into its curriculum.

This city centre school, which is based in the heart of Bangkok's Central Business District, enrols students from Nursery through to Grade 12. Teaching is based on American programmes, the National Curriculum for England and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP); the school plans to introduce the IBDP. Subjects include English, maths, science, social sciences, PE, swimming, Thai Culture and Language, music, drama & dance, ICT, art, and Bible studies. Students in Grades 3 – 12 are assessed in maths, reading, and science using the US Measures of Academic Progress (MAP).

In the school's own words,

"Our curriculum is fully integrated and truly international, adapted to provide a holistic inquiry-based education for our students. We work on a thematic basis, employing cross-curricular integration wherever possible."

The campus is equipped with all the science, art, music, drama, and sports facilities required to deliver a college-prep education, as well as after-school clubs; these activities include chess, poetry, animation, origami, athletics, Thai crafts, Thai drama, technology, yoga, Spanish, music, basketball, swimming, outdoor adventure, tennis, debating club, and engineering.

A full review will be posted shortly.
