Krabi International School is a British all-through school in the making. Since opening in 2015, close to Ao-Nang and Krabi Town, this eco-friendly school has been teaching the National Curriculum for England to an international mix of students aged 5 to 18 years (Year 1 – 13). In addition to the standard British curriculum, all students learn Thai and there is the option to study Chinese; the school offers IGCSEs and A Levels at secondary.
The low-rise campus for up to 350 students features a new secondary building, complete with a state of the art science lab; parents can look forward to facilities including a swimming pool and covered gym.
Krabi International School describes itself as a "modern green international school" and it plans to become fully self-sufficient within the next five years; it already has a solar power system, a recycling centre for staff and students, and a hydroponic farm where it grows organic vegetables.
