Looking for a stepping stone to a UK education? After passing their IGCSEs at this international secondary school in northern Thailand, students can apply to study for their A Levels at Cambridge College, Thailand's partner school in the UK. Cambridge College, Thailand (CCT) describes itself as "offering a British education at Thai prices" – and with its low tuition fees and following of the National Curriculum for England, it is doing just that.
CTT follows the National Curriculum for England in Years 7 – 9, which includes the core subjects and foundation subjects including art and design, citizenship, computing, design and technology, languages, geography, history, music, and PE. In Years 10 – 11, students study IGCSEs and can choose from one of two routes: IGCSE Business includes business studies, economics, and accounting, while IGCSE Science includes biology, chemistry, and physics; all students take courses in English, maths, and Thai language and culture.
The school is partnered with Brockenhurst College in the UK's home counties; based on their IGCSE results, students can apply to study for their A Levels at this high-achieving sixth form college.
