The Overseas Family School (OFS) is a very well-equipped all-through school in Eastern Singapore with a student population representing more than 70 different nationalities.

The Overseas Family School (OFS) has built up a reputation for offering a global education that will appeal to expats from many different countries. Located in Pasir Ris, in the Eastern part of Singapore, the OFS follows the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) at nursery level, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for Grades 1 to 5, the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme for Grades 6 to 12, and IGCSEs in Grades 9-10.  Students are well-prepared to leave the school with an IBDP qualification.

As well as offering study in the multiple languages – French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin or Spanish – there are mother tongue classes in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. Other standout features here include chess lessons to encourage strategic thinking, a math coding programme, a Model United Nations programme, and a very broad enrichment programme.

Founded in 1991, the school moved to a new campus in 2015 where it has capacity for 4,800 students, although the current intake is closer to 2,500. The school boasts some impressive facilities including technology, science and computer labs, four libraries, multipurpose courts, football field, studios for gymnastic and dance, an Olympic sized swimming pool and a junior pool, and a black box theatre.

A full review will be posted shortly.
