Dover Court International School offers a broad, balanced and differentiated programme operating within the framework of the English National Curriculum, a curriculum used by over 30,000 schools worldwide, known for its reliable assessment system and rich variety of resources.
Every child is encouraged to be active at DCIS. We believe that at a strong mind needs a strong body and physical education and swimming are taught by our specialist PE teachers, making sure that all children get the chance to be active, challenged and also learn to be confident in the water. We also offer a wide extra-curricular sports programme, with activities ranging from rigorous physical training for expeditions to inclusive sports open to children of all abilities.
Together with our catering partner we serve hot and cold food in our lower primary and main canteens. Our secondary students can also access the campus cafe.
The school day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 3.00pm.
Yes. The DCIS school uniform is designed to be both practical and smart. We encourage the children to wear their uniform with pride and to take care of it.
Students in Primary School have daily Mandarin lessons. Students in Secondary can choose between Mandarin and French. Spanish is offered for GCSE level.

Whether your child requires a short term intervention or more structured ongoing support, DCIS has a range of unique learning pathways that enable all students to access learning, thrive and grow into happy and well rounded individuals, prepared for their next step in study, training or the world of work.
Our programmes start in Early Years from the age of 3 and our curriculum is closely aligned to the English National Curriculum but with appropriate adaptions made to meet the needs of our students. For example, in our secondary school, where a student is not able to meet the outcomes expected for iGCSE, we have alternative routes that focus on English, mathematics, life skills and employability, delivered by highly trained special education teachers.
We organise termly coffee mornings for new and returning parents. Our active parent association organises events throughout the year, such as a welcome back picnic, Halloween, Christmas Fayre, Quiz Night, Summer Social etc.
