This centrally-located, standalone primary school will move to the school's Bukit Timah campus in August 2020.

Chatsworth International School will close its Orchard-based primary campus in 2020 – and move students to the school’s existing all-through campus in Bukit Timah. The Orchard campus is included in a heritage project by the Urban Redevelopment Authority to conserve three buildings on the site of the former Singapore Chinese' Girls School (SCGS) in Emerald Hill.

With a student population of 800 students aged three to 18, Chatsworth currently offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) across its two campuses.

The Orchard campus is home to a primary school for kindergarten through to Year 6 (Grade 5); students can transition to Chatsworth's Bukit Timah campus which enrols students from KG through to Year 13. Chatsworth is an international school with students representing around 50 nationalities, and no one dominant nationality.

Curriculum
Teaching follows the Primary Years Programme (PYP), which focuses on developing five skills Thinking, Social, Self-Management, Research and Communication. As well as teaching the core subjects, the curriculum includes art, music, PE, Mandarin and French. There’s a 1:1 MacBook programme for all students from Year 3 and above.

The teacher to student ratio is 2:22 (K1 & K2); 2:24 (Y1 & Y2); and 1:24 (Y3 & Y6); the  average number of students in each classroom is about 15.

Sport and the arts
The school has a strong focus on the arts with its offering of timetabled activities, after-school clubs, concerts and exhibitions. Students are encouraged to get involved with arts nights and participate in the IN Art Exhibition at the Australian High Commission, various school productions and dance competitions etc. Art gallery visits and music field-trips are also organised to further broaden students’ learning.
