The Grange Institution is developing new sheltered outdoor classrooms due to be completed late 2021, which will support its focus on outdoor learning for pre-school and primary students, as well as a new running track. It will support the school’s ongoing Garden-To-Table project, which sees students and their families growing fresh produce such as brinjal, okra and long beans in the school’s garden. There are also plans to add new nature-inspired play structures.
Principal Eugene Low said:
"At The Grange our mission has always been to create a small-school environment that is not overwhelming for children. As a growing school, that grows our classes year-on-year, we certainly organically grow and expand on our facilities as our student population grows and as demands for our curriculum becomes more rigorous."
