CBSE: Revised 2023 Exam Dates
India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced revised dates for 2023’s CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams, with the exam season starting a little earlier than in previous years. The first exams will take place on 15th February.
The exam season has previously begun at the end of February. 2021-22 exams were, for the first time, conducted over two periods, with the first set of exams having been scheduled for November-December, and the second in April. The CBSE has now returned to the former system of one set of exams, extending the period to ensure “no two subjects’ examinations of a student fall on the same date.”
Three international schools in Singapore offer the CBSE – GIIS SMART Campus, NPS International School and Yuvabharathi International School – while DPS International School offers the ICSE.

In a circular, the CBSE said:
“Sufficient gap has been given in between two subjects generally offered by a student in both the classes. Competitive examinations, including JEE Main, have been taken care of while preparing the date sheet for Class XII. The date sheet is issued much in advance so that students can prepare well for their examinations.”
