Singapore's public holidays for 2021 have been announced. There are 11 annual public holidays next year including four long weekends, three less than in 2020. Three public holidays fall on Friday and one on a Monday. 

Here we round up the key dates for the 2021 public holidays, as well as the academic calendars for MOE primary and secondary schools, Indian curriculum schools, and European, UK, and US schools.

2020/2021 term dates and holidays for MOE primary and secondary schools

Singapore's official school term dates for 2021 are yet to be announced. Below are the dates for the rest of the 2020 academic year, including the Singapore public school holidays. This academic year ends on 20 November.

These dates may also apply to Australian schools and others whose academic year follows the calendar year.

2020-21 term dates for Indian curriculum primary and secondary schools

Schools following the Indian curriculum follow the April to March calendar of their home country and incorporate local holidays within this.

2020-21 term dates for British/US/European primary and secondary schools

Schools following the Northern hemisphere academic calendar (UK, European and North American schools) run from August/September to June/July. Holidays are typically taken in October, December, and March-April.
