While the majority of expats in Singapore send their children to an international school, some families choose to go the local route. Just as Singaporeans have the choice of attending an international school, expats can secure a place at a government-run local school or one of three local international schools. Co-curricular activities
International and local international schools have a greater focus than local schools on sport, the arts and other extra-curricular activities. This is reflected in the state-of-the-art facilities on many international campuses, and the lengthy list of co-curricular activities offered to all international students.
