School calendar
Local schools tend to have an earlier start between 7am and 7.30am, and finish at 1.40pm. Typically, international schools will have a longer school day but with more frequent and lengthier breaks; they run from 8-9am to 2-3.30pm.
The academic year runs from January to December at all local schools.
International and local international school calendars vary between January to December, August to June, and May/June to March.
