Another school with a larger international student population is Opera Estate Primary School in Singapore’s eastern district of Bedok. The school’s holistic curriculum combines the MOE syllabus with the Ignite D’Arts arts and music programme. The school achieved a 99% pass rate in the Primary 6 mainstream programme.
Learning support at the school includes a two-year programme in Primary 3 and 4 for dyslexia, and a reading remediation programme. There’s a small choice of co-curricular activities including chess, IT, art, robotics, and maths and science. Also, OEPS has a Student Care Centre that offers after-school care including meals, homework supervision, games and tuition.
