Bukit Panjang Primary School (BPPS)

Founded in 1932 as one of the very few primary schools in the western part of Singapore, Bukit Panjang Primary School has a large student population of 2,700 children.

The mother tongue programme includes Chinese, Malay and Tamil, and the school enhances the MOE syllabus with activities such as reading marathons and cultural camps. Standout initiatives at the school include a sports leaders’ programme, an annual adventure and leadership camp, and a CHAMPs weight management programme. There’s a wide choice of CCAs, and the school has a Student Care Centre that offers after-school care including meals, homework supervision, games and tuition.
