International French School (IFS) is a well-established all-through school that delivers a French education to students of all nationalities at its campus in the North-East region of Singapore. Offering a bilingual, French and international education, IFS has firmly positioned itself with a unique offering in the landscape of international schools in Singapore.

Here’s a school that follows the guidelines of the French national curriculum and is accredited by the French Ministry of Education. All streams follow the French curriculum but offer varying degrees of teaching in English; they are flexible so that students can switch as they develop their language skills. And, as a school with more 60 different nationalities it is culturally diverse. With tuition fees ranging from $18,780-27,180, it is also competitive and affordable.

Parents are right to be cautious about enrolling their non-French speaking child into such a school and should expect to face several challenges along the way. However, the benefits of seeing your child adapt to a different culture, learn a new language, and go from zero to fluent French speaker may be worth the early obstacles.
