From a single campus in 2002, the Global Indian International School (GIIS) has expanded to three locations within Singapore with a predominantly Indian student population of 4,000. The SMART campus is an all-through school that offers the IBDP (Classes 11 and 12); the East Coast campus has nursery to Class 10 and offers the CBSE and IGCSE; and the Balestier campus focuses on nursery and primary education, with classes from nursery through to CBSE Class 6. As well as being very academically-focused, GIIS schools offer an holistic learning programme that focuses on problem solving, critical, analytical and creative thinking, and teamwork.
What the school says:
“Our signature Nine Gems framework guides everything we do at GIIS towards one common goal: the cultivation of happy, balanced, and ‘whole’ learners.”
