At Tawuun is a predominantly residential area located adjacent to Al Nakheel Mall, one of the biggest malls in Saudi Arabia, home to more than 300 shops, dining outlets, and entertainment areas.
In the North Central area of Riyadh, it's a newer part of the city with few compounds but more modern apartment buildings and independent shops and cafes along the main roads running the circumference of the area.
Its one international school of note, Al Faris International School, offers the International Baccalaureate programs to students aged 3 to 18 years.
