At present, applications are open , but we will have a waiting list if necessary

What are qualities and characteristics that define your school and its students?

We teach an enhanced British National Curriculum in small class sizes (around 15 students) and make special provision for those with English as a second language. Our school is centered on the library learning hub, and the curriculum has a particular focus on reading and phonics. Chinese language and culture is important too, as are the creative arts and sports

How many nationalities are represented in your school? How international would you say your school is?

Our curriculum will be taught in English, but we provide particular support for those in Year 1 who have English as a second language with a dedicated ESL teacher. Over 22 nationalities are represented at the school in the student body.

Are there high proportions of a particular nationality?

We are open to all nationalities .

What is the teacher: student ratio in your school?

We have a class size of approx. 15 pupils, taught by a Class Curriculum teacher and supported by a learning assistant.

Please describe your approach to teacher recruitment in terms of the balance of staff you seek in terms of nationalities and in terms of years of experience/ qualifications you look for. Please also provide details of how you use teaching assistants.

All our teachers are trained in the British curriculum.

Describe your school's approach to education and teaching?

Grounded in the internationally renowned British National Curriculum our "intelligently British" education will offer a comprehensive learning programme. Phonics are of particular importance to us, taught by native English teachers. A traditional education.

Physical education and sport is an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. How does your school ensure children engage in physical activity?

The weekly timetable for each year includes PE in school and a Games session at a local sports field. In addition, we have use of an on-site swimming pool.

What is the starting and finishing time of your school day?

8:00am until 3:00pm , then extra curricular activities start after a short break at 3:15pm until 4:30pm
