The Jewish Carmel School Association offers children an early childhood education at its Holly Rofe Early Learning Centre. The centre for children aged 12 months through to 5 years offers a “learning through play” curriculum, which includes a Word Fun programme, immersion-based Mandarin classes, and Hebrew for the Ganeynu class (2 to 3-year olds) and above. This centre is a stepping stone to Carmel Elementary School.
The school says,
“Through daily practice, the children gain a knowledge and understanding of the traditions, celebrations and milestones in the Hebrew calendar. Jewish holidays are celebrated, and through our Shabbat parties children enjoy the warmth and spirituality so important to community.”
Holly Rofe Early Learning Centre is part of the Carmel School Association family of schools, which includes Carmel Elementary School and Elsa High School. Located in the Jewish Community Centre on Robinson Road, the facilities at the Holly Rofe Early Learning Centre include an indoor heated pool, jungle gym, climbing frames, playground, and play area.
