LET'S GO

The IB Diploma Programme is the most widely offered pre-university qualification offered within Hong Kong’s international schools. There are now 36 local and international schools in Hong Kong offering the IBDP after two US schools, American School Hong Kong and Stamford American School Hong Kong, became the latest two schools to join the list.

Parents now have a wider choice of schools offering the IBDP, including six that are full IB schools and also follow the IB Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years Programmes (MYP). This is compared to the much smaller choice of just 10 international schools offering A Levels in Hong Kong.

American School Hong Kong and Stamford American School, Hong Kong have both been fully authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation as an IB World School to offer the IBDP. Their first IBDP cohorts will start in August 2021. They are the only US curriculum schools in Hong Kong to now offer the IB.
