LET'S GO

Chak Kei Lau from ESF Island School is still deciding which university to go to.

What was key to your success in the IB Diploma?

Having a good group of friends! Being able to just talk and hang out with them means that I was able to keep my stress levels at a manageable level, which is the most difficult part of IB.

What advice would you give to the next cohort of IB students?

Don't think about the point score. At the end of the day, a number doesn't describe your kindness, your courage nor your intelligence. Come into IB thinking to make the most of your time there, hopefully you've chosen subjects you enjoy, so make the most out of that. The points will come after that!
