The new 150,000 sq ft campus will be the latest addition to Anchor's existing family of local and international nurseries and kindergartens, which are located in Fuller Gardens, Constellation Cove and Fanling.
Anjisi School will be the only the second new school to open since 2020; Invictus International School opened its second Hong Kong campus in late 2020.
The school will offer a blended "local international curriculum" that will prepare students for the IB or GCSE courses at secondary school, with the main language of instruction being English; Chinese subjects will be taught in Putonghua.
Facilities will include a six-storey teaching building with classrooms, science labs and performing arts halls, as well as a heated swimming pool, football pitch and athletics track and sport fields. The school will enrol three classes per year group, and class sizes will be capped at 25 students; priority admission will be given to students at Anchor's kindergartens.
The school project has been approved by Hong Kong's City Planning Board and is awaiting approval by the Education Bureau; building is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022.
