The Primary One curriculum covers a wide range of subjects including social studies, science, Chinese, English, mathematics, music, arts and physical education. There are no national assessments in Hong Kong until the end of Secondary school; students the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) at the end of upper secondary school in Secondary 6.
