The Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) is Hong Kong’s leading Canadian school, and is one of only six IB continuum schools in Hong Kong to offer all three IB programmes. The non-profit CDNIS is also the only school to offer a dual-diploma programme; senior students take both the IBDP and the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
CDNIS has a reputation for its focus on technology and innovation; as well as being an Apple Distinguished School, it has a 1:1 laptop programme, and a OneDoor learning and technology hub, with STEM/STEAM facilities, robotics and coding labs. The school has always had a very strong Chinese programme, and students learn the language in an immersive environment created within an impressive Chinese Cultural Centre. As well as boasting some of the highest average IB scores in Hong Kong – it has been 36 or above for the past five years – CDNIS has a beautiful, modern campus with plenty of outdoor space, rooftop facilities and well-equipped specialist rooms.
What the school says: “Our specialised teachers utilize innovative approaches to learning and collaborating, in technology-rich environments, preparing our students with a new kind of thinking in local and global contexts."
