Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong (LPCUWC) is a boarding-only school that offers a two-year IBDP programme to local and international students. Open to students aged 16 to 18 years, LPCUWC is a not-for-profit school with small, mixed ability classes of around 16 students, and a strong academic record.
Part of the UWC movement, this small school is located on the edge of Ma On Shan Country Park. As well as fully embracing a learner centred and inquiry-based education, it has a reputation for its Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) programme.
What the school says: “Sharing a firm commitment to diversity, LPCUWC is a boarding school that goes beyond being “international… Living in a fully residential college, students get to learn from and with friends of different backgrounds in their shared living experiences.”
